Today's Rag Throw

Just felt like making something today and decided that I wanted it to be quick and light.  Rag quilts are so simple... especially if you have pre-cut fabric.  I found a collection of 2 1/2 inch rainbow fabric strips I bought years ago.  After ironing them, I paired them up and sewed them together in strips.

This is the front of the throw.  You sew the strips together with the seams
in the front so that after you cut and wash it, the ragging is in the front.

This is the back of the throw.

You can see the small cuts I've made in the seams.  You have to make
these cuts on each seam and all the way around the whole perimeter.
It's messy, time-consuming and your fingers are cramped.

This is what it looked like after I washed and dried it.

Up a bit closer.

Mr. Smith held it up for a photo.  Sorry for the poor lighting.  Bummer.
